Product description: thank you to give us the most detailed possible description product which you are seeking. If you cannot describe it with words (see example), join if possible technical pictures or drawings.
Do not use generic terms to describe what you seek. As an exemple, do not mention “I seek bicycles”. It is a generic term which includes all the kinds of bicycles (for men, women, children, for racing cycles, the electric bicycles…). In this case, it will be impossible for us to proper quote it for you. On the other hand, if you address to us a request with the photograph of a VTT for men, 18 speeds, with wheels of 30 inches + all details and specifications you wish (color, accessories, % of spare parts…), we will then have a good starting base to work on your project.
Quantities of order: mention the exact quantities by taking account of the fact that the Chinese factories impose minimum of order relatively high. The requests relating to too small quantities are seldom interesting to produce in China because of the minimum costs related to the importation taxes and transport.
Delivery periods: it is necessary to count approximately 60 days for an existing product in China (30 days of production + 30 days of transport) and approximately 90 days for a new product (30 days for tools and moulds preparation + 30 days of production + 30 days of transport). Please add a margin of + 10 days to these deadlines for your security.
Transport: the boat transport often represents an important part of the final price, the volume of empty space to ship is thus an important factor. A small size product and with a material of strong density will be very often much more interesting to manufacture in China than a product with a strong volume of air.
Price quotation: the price quotation of the Chinese suppliers is generally FOB (Free One Board) and corresponds only to the purchase price of the product.
The price quotation which will be send to you by ONE STOP in DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) and thus includes all the elements such as the quality controls, transport (boat and road), the importation taxes, the customs clearance charges, handling (unloading of the container, palletization…).
